About your role

  • Embed yourself in the venture team by taking part in all stages of the investment process all the way from sourcing until portfolio management
  • Source attractive investment opportunities and screen inbound deal-flow
  • Perform in-depth due diligence on product, commercial, strategic and financial level
  • Build expertise through extensive market research in themes of interest within our target sectors and markets
  • Stress test unit economics and financial growth models
  • Assist in building deal structures and term sheets for inspiring founders
  • Support and work with our portfolio companies on topics such as internationalisation, scaling sales & marketing, operational structures for hyper scaling, boosting KPI-based steering, etc.

Who we are looking for

  • You have curiosity in technology and its impact on people, businesses and society
  • You have 2 to 6 years of experience in investing, startups, consultancy or banking
  • You are an analytical, hands-on and pragmatic person with a proactive attitude
  • You have strong communication skills to articulate and underpin concepts, propositions and theses, both verbal and written
  • Ideally, you can assess market sizes and trends, you understand how to assess business models and business plans, you have an understanding of different commercial strategies when scaling a company and you have affinity with productised technology 
  • You have an academic track record, likely with a degree in finance, economics, engineering, or computer science
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
  • You are fluent in Dutch or German and English.
