Holland Capital is one of the longest standing private equity firms in the Netherlands. We have been successfully and responsibly investing in promising small and medium-sized Dutch and German businesses with growth ambitions for more than 40 years. With a clear investment strategy, we anticipate long-term trends in attractive growth markets, focusing on Healthcare, Technology and Agrifood.
In recent years we have invested in more than 180 entrepreneurs. Currently we have EUR 500m under management. Our funds come primarily from experienced entrepreneurs from the Healthcare, Technology and Agrifood tech sectors, as well as family offices and institutional investors.

Holland Capital invests in promising Dutch and German companies active in Healthcare, Technology and Agrifood. We focus on companies that excel through strong management, a distinctive market position and significant growth potential. As an involved investor, we provide growth capital and also use our network and knowledge to help entrepreneurs realise growth opportunities.
Our focus is on venture, growth and buy-out investments, where a company has attractive growth opportunities, but needs additional capital to realise these opportunities. We actively cooperate with entrepreneurs on strategic development and operational improvements. We don’t do this alone, but together with involved investors and entrepreneurs who have been successful in Healthcare, Technology and Agrifood.

Value creation
Holland Capital focuses on creating significant value within the companies in which we invest. As an active shareholder, we are closely involved with the development and growth of the company. In collaboration with the company’s management, we draw up plans for strategic development and operational improvements. The joint implementation and execution of these plans and their adjustment is always done with the aim of value growth in mind.
Partnerships
We build long-term relationships with entrepreneurs and the managers of the businesses which we invest in. Holland Capital speaks the language of entrepreneurs and is a valued partner. By being transparent about objectives and expectations, we strive to align our objectives and those of the company’s management. These partnerships are based on mutual trust and respect and focus on the joint development of a successful business.
Network & experience
At Holland Capital, we find it essential to be familiar with the market in which the company operates. We develop a clear and thorough insight into the developments within the market so that we can act as a true sparring partner and assist the management team in the decision-making process. From 1981 onwards, we have built up a broad network that largely consists of people with extensive business experience in specific sectors, who have experienced the diverse challenges of a growing company.
