Amsterdam August 5, 2022 – Holland Capital is investing in Kriya Materials (Kriya), a leading developer of advanced nanotechnology-based custom coating solutions. The funding will be used to accelerate international expansion.
Advanced coating solutions
Kriya specializes in developing, manufacturing and selling customized multifunctional coating solutions for many industrial applications. Kriya supplies its products to manufacturers of LCD screens and solar panels, as well as to the glass- and foil industry, among others. Based on patented nanoparticles and the expertise to create multifunctional coatings, Kriya enables customers to optimize the performance of their products, generate or save energy, and reduce the carbon footprint of their products in various ways.
Investment for growth
Holland Capital’s financing will enable Kriya to further strengthen its activities in Asia and to move into a new production site in South-Limburg. In addition, Valentijn van Velthoven, former Managing Director at Boschman Technologies and former VP Alpha Assembly Solutions, will use his knowledge and experience, particularly acquired in Asia, to help realize Kriya’s growth ambitions.

The portfolio of products consists of customized products with various properties, anti-reflection, dirt-repellent, anti-static, near-infrared light-repellent or scratch-resistant systems are some examples.
