About your role
– Actively contribute to the development of the Holland Capital ESG methodology framework and database (a.o. benchmark data collection)
– Collect and analyze ESG data on key sustainability-related topics directly from portfolio companies
– Contribute to the ESG due diligence process during pre-investment across both venture & growth as well as growth & buy-out. Work with the investment teams to ensure ESG due diligence information and views are incorporated into the various reports.
– Monitor and follow up with international, European, and Dutch regulations (Taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD etc.)
– Support the finalization of Holland Capital’s environmental footprint assessment
– Assist in the preparation of communication materials on ESG at Holland Capital and help improve awareness of ESG related aspects within Holland Capital
Who we are looking for
– You are available to contribute to the activities described, this internship is not a research/thesis oriented position
– You have enthusiasm for the ESG, sustainability & impact trends within the financial industry
– First practical experience in the field of sustainability would be beneficial
– Knowledge of common ESG and/or impact standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SFDR, CSRD, UN Guiding Principles, EU taxonomy) is a big plus
– You have an academic or college background ideally with a focus on sustainability, sustainable finance, impact, climate, circular economy etc.
– You have the ability to work independently and proactively
– You are an analytical, charismatic and pragmatic person
– You are comfortable with Microsoft (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
– You are fluent in Dutch and English.
