Amsterdam/Alkmaar, September 1st, 2020 – Holland Capital, a Dutch based investment firm, invests in HealthConnected, a healthcare IT platform for the primary care market. This investment enables HealthConnected to focus on the expansion to new regions in the Netherlands and to broaden its platform service offering. Next to the currently available solution for health care chains (Ketenzorg or KIS), the platform will expand with dedicated services for GP centres (HAPIS) and general practitioners (HIS).

Experienced team strives for innovation     
HealthConnected is established out of the need for a modern and user-friendly IT platform and to solve the lack of data exchange in primary care. Paul Witteman founded the platform in 2017 and in spring 2019, Ab Elzenga (former CEO Labelsoft) joined the company. As of today, HealthConnected employs an experienced team of managers and developers who are familiar within the field of primary care. Modern web based platform with central patient record    
HealthConnected offers a modern web based platform for healthcare workers with a fully integrated patient record that is accessible in real time and from any location. The platform is already in use in multiple regions and the company will expand its geographical foothold in the near future. In this way, HealthConnected responds to the trend of regionalization and the need for ease of use.
