About your role

  • Embed yourself in the venture team by taking part in all stages of the investment process all the way from sourcing until portfolio management. Work is divided 50-50 between investment and founder servicing
  • Independently source attractive investment opportunities and screen inbound deal-flow
  • Perform in-depth due diligence on product, commercial, strategic and financial level
  • Build expertise through extensive market research in our target sectors and markets
  • Stress test unit economics and financial growth models
  • Assist in building deal structures and negotiating term sheets with inspiring founders
  • Support and work with our portfolio companies on topics such as internationalisation, scaling GTM, building out operational structures for fast scaling, boosting KPI-based steering, etc.

Who are we looking for

  • You have 2 – 3 years of experience in investing, strategy consulting, startups / scale-ups or banking
  • You are an analytical, hands-on and pragmatic person with a proactive attitude
  • You have strong communication skills to articulate and underpin concepts, propositions and theses, both verbal and written, and are not afraid to have well-substantiated opinions
  • Ideally, you can assess markets and trends, you understand how to assess business models and business plans, you have an understanding of different commercial strategies when scaling a company and you have affinity with technology
  • You have an academic track record, likely with a degree in finance, economics, data science, engineering, or computer science
  • You are comfortable with AI platforms and Microsoft (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
  • You are fluent in German and English

Within 5 months, you will familiarize yourself with all aspects of the investment process to ramp up all skills related to PE investing.

About your role

  • Support the buy-out team in all phases of the investment process
  • Source attractive investment opportunities and screen inbound deal-flow
  • Perform in-depth due diligence on commercial, strategic and financial level
  • Build financial models that support our investment thesis
  • Acquire expertise through extensive market research in themes of interest within our target sectors and markets
  • Actively participate in meetings with inspiring founders and managers.

We are looking for

  • Fit with the lower mid-market and natural ability to connect
    with entrepreneurs
  • Analytical, charismatic and pragmatic person with a proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills to articulate and underpin concepts, propositions and theses, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding academic track record, at least completion of Bachelor and currently studying Masters (Business, Finance, Investments, Accounting, Econometrics, Engineering etc.)
  • Preferably internship experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Private Equity, or (strategy) consulting
  • Comfortable with Microsoft (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

For our team in Düsseldorf, we are looking for interns who want to actively accompany the investment process and gain in-depth knowledge in the field of private equity.

Interns in the investment team work as a recognized team member with the investment professionals and familiarize with the comprehensive private equity business. We are looking for interns to support the team in Düsseldorf, starting immediately and on an ongoing basis.

About your role

  • Supporting the German buy-out team in all phases of the investment process
  • Searching for attractive investment opportunities and reviewing incoming investment opportunities;
  • Conducting upcoming due diligence on a commercial, strategic
    and financial level;
  • Building financial models that support our investment thesis;
  • Obtaining expertise through extensive market research on topics
    of interest within our target sectors and markets;
  • Actively participating in meetings with founders and managers.

We are looking for

An ambitious and driven student with excellent academic performance.
In addition:

  • You have a fit with the lower mid-market and natural ability to
    connect with entrepreneurs;
  • You are an analytical, charismatic and pragmatic person with a
    proactive attitude;
  • You have strong communication skills to articulate and underpin concepts, propositions and theses, both verbal and written ;
  • You have a outstanding academic track record, at least completion of Bachelor and currently studying Masters (Business, Finance, Investments, Accounting, Econometrics, Engineering etc.);
  • Preferably you have internship experience in Investment Banking,
    M&A, Private Equity, Leveraged Finance or (strategy) consulting;
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft (Excel/PowerPoint);
  • Fluency in German and English.
