Daarnaast zag EAE vergelijkbare behoeften ontstaan in de intralogistieke markt en breidde het bedrijf zijn activiteiten uit met turnkey sorteersystemen met hoge capaciteit. Hierbij worden zelf ontwikkelde software en besturingssystemen gecombineerd met mechanische infrastructuur tot een geïntegreerde totaaloplossing. Vandaag de dag vormt de technologie van EAE de intelligente kern van toonaangevende sorteersystemen en ondersteunt het een wereldwijd klantenbestand.

Een markt op een kantelpunt

De investering komt op een belangrijk moment voor beide eindmarkten van EAE. In de grafische sector zorgt een grote geïnstalleerde basis van verouderde drukpersen voor aanzienlijke mogelijkheden om systemen te upgraden. Tegelijkertijd blijft de wereldwijde vraag naar sorteercapaciteit groeien door de aanhoudende expansie van e-commerce.

In beide markten worden prestatieverbeteringen steeds vaker gerealiseerd door het upgraden van de intelligente laag: software, besturingssystemen en vision-technologie.

Bouwen aan een internationaal platform

Samen met Holland Capital als actieve strategische partner wil EAE zijn groei versnellen door te investeren in innovatie, het vergroten van zijn internationale aanwezigheid en het realiseren van gerichte overnames wereldwijd.

Nieuw leiderschap 

Als onderdeel van deze nieuwe fase zullen oprichters Erik van Holten en Menno Jansen zich terugtrekken uit de dagelijkse leiding. Tom van Holten, die meer dan tien jaar ervaring heeft in de intralogistieke sector, neemt de rol van Group CEO op zich. 

Ondersteund door een ervaren managementteam zal hij de strategische en operationele ontwikkeling van het bedrijf leiden. De oprichters blijven nauw betrokken als aandeelhouders en strategisch adviseurs. Daarmee blijft hun uitgebreide marktkennis en technische expertise stevig verankerd in de organisatie en dragen zij bij aan de verdere lange termijn groei.
